Alright, totally misleading with the post topic, but it got your attention.

Firstly, sorry for being gone over the past few days, my mom has been sick so I didn’t get a chance to update for the last few days.
Now that we are past that I want to talk about losing weight.
If you saw my before and afters and read about my story, you might noticed that within my first round of INSANITY (Two months)
I lost 80lbs, a lot of people will say that is unhealthy and very bad for you, but in THIS case, it really isn’t.
Within 1 week I went from eating WAY to much food, really really bad food (1 whole frozen pizza for lunch atleast 4 days a week), playing video games for hours a day, never ever working out, sleeping way to much, and not taking care of myself to eating healthy foods, portion control, and working out every day as well as fixing my sleep and getting up and being more active in general.
For one, I lost tons of water weight, but at the same time when you make such a drastic change and have that much weight to lose, the first bit will come off fast.

Fast forward to now, I have lost about 3 pounds within the last month.
That is much more normal and healthy.
Losing 2-4 lbs a week is a healthy weight loss depending on your start point and what you have to lose.
There is no “quick Fix”, no magic pill or miracle  diet that you can drop all your  extra weight safely super super quickly.
You lose weight by hard work, and a healthy diet, flat out that’s what it comes down too.

Now, having said that you can do things to help with you diet by using supplements.
You want to use the right supplement to “SUPPLEMENT” your diet.
Get you diet right first, and then if you need some extra of this or that you can look to supplements.
I do take supplements, but I also have a very clean diet and I’m always changing it to try and make it better and take as few supplements as possible.

So that point of this is that if you want to lose weight that it takes hard work, discipline, and TIME.
I’m almost at a year since I started this and I still have some ground to cover, but I just keep working at it daily because this is a lifestyle thing, not a fad.

What’s up everybody!
I’m back again and boy am I tired, it was a long day at work.
Sorry I didn’t get a post up yesterday, I was going to, but I won’t lie, I played MW3 all evening instead.

Anyway,  I’m back and I’m bring a challenge with me!
Coach Chaz and I did the 300 spartan Challenge together and after seeing and hearing how well it went and how much everyone enjoyed it, we deiced to put on another challenge to keep things going and keep people up with improving their fitness.

The challenge we are bringing you this time will start on Monday the 14th and run till the sunday the 27th, its a 14 day challenge for those who are trying to count down the day. So if you wanna join leave a comment and let me know, also, be sure to add me on Facebook so I can add you to our accountability group, trust me, it helps a lot.

Now then, the good stuff.
This time we are doing a Crossfit/Spartan WOD Challenge.
If you guys aren’t don’t know what Crossfit is then welll…. I suggest you check them out, haha.
As far as the Spartan aspect, on the Spartan Blog for the Spartan Race they will post WOD for you to do, just like Crossfit does.
We will be posting the WOD for from each, leaving it up to you which to do.
If you wanna get better, do the one that will be harder for YOU to do, or be crazy like Chaz and I and do both, haha.

Everyday you will want to post in the accountability group letting us know how you are feeling and time and all that good stuff.
I’m not going to set anything in stone, but if anyone want’s to join, there just might be a prize involved too. =D

Anyway, I would recommend you check out both of the links I gave even if you don’t want to join, they have some really awesome stuff and it’s very informational to read if your interested in health and fitness.

That’s all for tonight guys, no video yet.
Remember, add me on FB if you want to join, we would love to have you!

Take care ya’ll (I’m from OK, what do you expect)

Hey guys!
So yesterday was crazy.
We had tornados, earthquakes, and flooding all at once.

Got to love Oklahoma, right?

Anyway, today was pretty freaking awesome.
Firstly, I got MW3 tonight and I have played SP some and I’m playing MP this weekend, totally freaking awesome game.
Plus workout was awesome tonight, that always makes the day better.
This morning for my workout I went back to my old gym to workout which was awesome because I got to see all the guys and none of them have seen me since I started on my weight loss journey, so they were pretty stoked to see what I looked like. Although they didn’t all recognize me at first, haha.
I did just some of my own stuff for the most part, some CEKB WOD, some Crossfit WOD, and cardio, and I also did a Scott Herman ab workout.
Just so you guys know, Scott Herman is pretty freaking awesome in my book, I don’t care what you say.
Check out the video and tell me your abs don’t hurt from watching this stuff.

Alright, now that that’s taken care of, on to the update!
So I got on the scale this morning and what do I see?
192! that means I lost 3lbs over the 11 days of the spartan challenge!
That’s really exciting, and it makes me really want to work on keeping my diet really clean like I did during that 11 days.

I did pictures and measurements.
I’m really to lazy for measurements right now, some cool stuff there but nothing to blow you away until I post them next to my starting numbers.
I did decided to throw together a timeline picture for you guys to check out to show the points I did picture for progress measurements, check it out!

Let me guys know what you think!
The only thing I will ask of everyone, if you are going to make a negative comment, grow up and don’t even bother, no one needs that crap, not me or anyone who is reading this blog, either get over yourself or get off your ass and go workout, depending on which needs to be done.

Anyway, that’s all I have for tonight guys, I’m gonna go play MW3 a little more before getting ready for bed.
I love to hear from you all so be sure to comment!

Hey guys, just a quick post tonight.
I finished up my spartan challenge this morning, during the 11 days I hage big strength increases and I see some body comp. differences too!

I’m just gonna make it easy and post the video for you all, here in Oklahoma we are having flooding, an earthquake, and a tornado watch so it’s crazy out here right now.

Keep checking in to make sure I survive, haha.

I hear it all the time “Shakeology is way too expensive, there is no way I could afford it!”
I call BS.
When you say that all I can think about is the crap you are already spending $4 a day on.
Lets look at that fast food meal you are getting 3-4 day’s a week, and we can’t forget the $5 dollar drink from starbucks every morning before work, then there are the frozen box dinners you eat almost everyday, that big glup you have with lunch, don’t forget that one, what about the “Health bar” you have for a snack?
OH! Don’t think I forgot all the supplements you take to make up for all the other crap you are putting in your body, we can’t miss them.

Why don’t we take a look at what all is in Shakeology,

We have a multivitamin and mineral, antioxidents, Digestive enzyme, Adaptogen, phytonutrient ,Pro-biotic, prebiotics, and protein.
If you don’t know much about supplements, that’s a hell of a lot of REALLY good stuff that you really should be getting, but pretty much no one does from their food, and most people even with good intentions of getting it from supplements on get maybe half of this stuff, and maybe a quarter of what’s in Shakeology.
Here are the nutritional facts so you can take a look for yourself.

Alright, so we already know about how much people spend on the “food” crap that they put in their body, but what about the supplements?
Well, being the nerd I am decided to research it to find out for myself what the cost would be to get what is in shakeology in supplements else where.

Alright, so Shakeology is $120, with free shipping, breaks down to 4 dollars a day.

Now lets look at the supplements to see what we come up with.

Multivitamin $19
antioxident $14
Digestive enzyme $20
Adaptogen supplement $20
phytonutrient supplement $40
Prociotic $15
prebiotics $10

Total for all of that, $159 before any tax and shipping added in.
Also, everything I found, was the cheapest stuff I could find, most of it is utter crap and you maybe, MAYBE get a SMALL effect from taking it, most of it ends up being fillers anyway, and most of them (ie Antioxidents) are single antioxidents, where as Shakeology has 10 different ones.
So you are looking $5.30 a day from that.

Now let’s take it a step further and look at national averages spend on starbucks and fast food a week (I’m going to be nice and not include cost of alcohol or cigarettes in this number)

Ok, the average cost per visit starbucks is $6.36 with the average person visiting them 10 times a month, that’s 63.60
Alright, we the the average American spends $5 a day on fast food, pop, candy a day!
Now, let’s just say they only did the during the work week, so 5 day’s a week, that’s $25 a week, or $100 a month.

Now, lets combine the cost of the starbucks and the fast food and we get $163.60 a month on just coffee and a crappy meal.
So since we are doing that we need to take some supplements to make up for the crap we are taking it, right!?
So let’s add that in now and we are at $322.60 a month for that stuff, and when we break that down to cost per day we are looking at 10.75 a day.

Okay, hold on a minute.
You are telling me you can’t spend 4 dollars a day on something to improve your healthy and quality of life?
Not for you? Not for your family? You just can’t afford because of the $10.75 you spend per day on DECREASING you quality of life, that makes sense.

Alright, so know what if you add in Shakeology, but get rid of all the other stuff we talked about, what then.
You could be saving $6.75 per day, or $202.60 a month if you prefer.

Save money, feel better, look better versus lose money, feel like crap, look like crap?
Yeah, it’s an easy choice for me.

Check out this video of me talking about this very subject.

Also for your viewing pleasure a comparison chart of shakeology to other “meal replacement drinks”

This chart was made by Chris Potter, an awesome member of team ALLegiance.

Just a quick post tonight guys.
I made a video to introduce myself on youtube today, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone on this one but it will help me grow!

A little update about some food stuffs as well,
I’m going to try to get a new recipe up this weekend, sorry I haven’t in awhile, just been busy so I wasn’t cooking anything new.

Oh, just a heads up, I will most likely be doing some supplement reviews here soon, so keep an eye out.

Let me ask you something.

Do you or someone you know want to lose 5, 10, 15, even 20 pounds before Christmas?
Do you or someone you know want to be healthier, and more fit in order to enjoy more time with family and friends?
I mean, let’s face it, who DOESN”T want to be healthy and fit, most people let excuses get in the way of it is the problem.

You know what I say to that?
WHY WAIT?!?!?!

Plus, not only will you have chances to win CASH prizes with the Beachbody Challenge (Up to $100,000) and WOWY ($500 a day, just for working out), at the end of my 30-day shallenge I will be awarding prizes!

Like I said, now is the BEST time to get healthy and fit, so stop putting it off and change your life.

My Bad guys, my bad.
I totally dropped off the face of the planet, but I’m Back now!
Just so you know what was going on I was in my last month off school so I had been pretty busy with getting everything finished up and then to top it off my computer crashed, so I just said the computer would have to wait till I was out of school and focused on finishing up.
So I’m all out of school now (Yay!) and I was able to get my computer repaired and here I am!

Anyway, during the time I was away I still worked out everyday and loved every minute of it.
I finished up round two of Asylum and right now I’m taking a rest week before starting Asylum/P90X hybrid!
With all this I’m totally pumped for P90X2 Coming out! Just over a month to go! Who else is excited for this!
I hope you all pre-ordered, otherwise you are gonna have to wait. (If you want to set a pre-order, let me know and I can fill you in on all the details.)

Alright, so I have a challenge for you all.
Starting tomorrow (Oct 28th) I’m starting a 11 day spartan Challenge, and I want you to join.
We have a facebook group where we will all be posting and keeping each other accountable and motivated during the 11 days.
We will be doing the 300 spartan workout with a basic set-up of 2 on 1 off, so if you want to join, leave a comment or email me (Tg.fullbright@sbcglobal.net) or find me on facebook. (Trevor Fullbright)

Today has been a fantastic day so far, and I don’t see that changing as long as a I have a big ‘ol pot of this stuff around.
It’s a nice chilly, rainy day here in Oklahoma, perfect for something hearty to fill up my dutch oven with.

While I was trying to figure out what to do, I did some yoga (P90X one on one; fountain of youth) to relax and stretch, lord knows I needed it because I felt like a new man when I was done, and I knew I was gonna have fun cooking this up.

So here we go!

2 pound chuck roast, cut to bite size pieces. (about 1 inch)
1 pound beef bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces. (Or nitrate free pork bacon)
1 pat butter
2 medium onions, roughly chopped.
10 small sweet peppers, roughly chopped
7 cloves of Garlic, roughly chopped.
1 6oz can of tomato paste.
1 14.5oz can of diced tomatoes.
2 cups beef stock.
2 cups water.
1/2 – whole 80%+ dark chocolate bar. (depends on your taste, I used half)
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper.
1 tablespoon Chipotle powder.
1 tablespoon Smoked paprika.
2 teaspoons ground turmeric.
2 teaspoons ground cumin.
1 tablespoon dried oregano.
1 Juice of Lemon.
1-2 tablespoons flax meal (Optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Place butter in dutch oven over medium heat and melt.
Once melted place bacon in pot and cook to render out fat, about 10 minutes
Remove bacon while leaving fat and place to the side, pour fat into cup leaving about a tablespoon of it in the pot, increase heat to medium-high, then throw in meat to brown in two batches, browning about 5 minutes per batch, remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and Toss in onion, peppers, and garlic adding more bacon fat if needed and brown for about 7-10 minutes. return bacon and roast to the put, stir together, add tomato paste and diced tomatoes, stir together and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour in stock and water, add all seasonings, and bring to a boil, then add the chocolate (Best to break up the chocolate first) and stir in, reducing heat to low, partially cover and simmer for two hours.
If you like a thicker chilli like me, stir in the flax meal to thicken and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.**
Add juice of lemon and serve.

Top with whatever you like, I enjoy some chopped green onion, mexican crema and a little shredded cheese.

I would love to hear what all of you think!
